Crafting Timeless Living, Naturally.
About Us
Our Philosophy
Teak Talk was created around a love for furniture and objects with a story. We source distinctive pieces from India, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand and beyond, bringing together natural materials, artisan details and forms that become more beautiful over time.
Our process starts by understanding how you live. We consider proportion, movement, comfort and the character already present in your home before recommending anything new.
We combine vintage influence with contemporary simplicity, handcrafted textures with clean lines and statement furniture with quieter everyday essentials.
The goal is not to fill every corner. It is to create balance, allow each piece to breathe and build a home that feels gathered gradually instead of purchased all at once.
Whether the project is a full room or one meaningful addition, the experience remains collaborative, practical and personal from the first selection to final placement.
Meet the Founder
Sarah Ross
Founder
I’ve always believed a home should feel like you, not like a showroom, and definitely not like everyone else’s.
I love decorating, styling spaces, and sharing ideas that make a home feel more personal, warm and a little unexpected. I’m drawn to pieces with character ,
the kind of things that make you stop and wonder where they came from or what story they carry.
Travel plays a big part in that. I’m inspired by the artisans we meet along the way, their hands, their craft and the little details that make each piece unique. And sometimes, when I find something that really speaks to me, I’ll personally pick it up and bring it all the way home to Malaysia.
For me, it’s never just about decor. It’s about finding pieces that make you feel something.
I like things with soul, stories and personality , not the usual, not the predictable, and definitely not just because they’re “trending.”
So this is a little corner of things I love: homes, travels, beautiful finds, creative ideas and pieces that simply make life feel a little more you.

I’ve always believed that a home should be more than just a place to live. It should reflect who you are, the experiences you’ve had, and the things that make you feel comfortable and connected.
For me, furniture is never just about how it looks. I’m drawn to natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and pieces that have their own character. I appreciate the little imperfections, textures, and details that make something truly special.
Travelling has always been a source of inspiration. Along the way, I’ve discovered beautiful furniture, met talented artisans, and learned to appreciate the time, skill, and dedication behind their work. These experiences have shaped the way I look at furniture and the pieces we bring into Teak Talk.
At the end of the day, I believe the best homes aren’t necessarily the most perfectly decorated ones. They’re the ones filled with warmth, memories, and pieces that tell a story.
And that’s what Teak Talk means to me. Bringing together beautiful finds, natural craftsmanship, and a little inspiration to help people create homes that truly feel like their own.
Vision & Mission
At Teak Talk, we are guided by a clear purpose and a deep commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and timeless living.
Vision
We look for furniture and home décor that make a home feel different.
Our collection brings together pieces from India and Indonesia from furniture to smaller details for the home, with interesting shapes, textures, materials, and designs you don’t see everywhere.
We believe a beautiful home isn’t about following a style. It’s about finding pieces you love and bringing them together in a way that feels like you.
Mision
Our mission is to bring furniture and home décor that you won’t find everywhere.
We search for pieces from India and Indonesia that have something different about them, whether it’s the shape, material, craftsmanship, or the way they are made.
We want to make it easier for people to create homes that feel beautiful, comfortable, and truly their own, with pieces that have a story and a place in everyday living.
